Event Eligibility & Merchandise Rules
Vintage & Antique Vendor Requirements

Minimum 80% of booth items must be vintage (20+ years old), antique, salvaged, or repurposed using genuine vintage materials.

No Mass‑Produced New Retail — Dollar‑store items, Amazon/Temu/Shein goods, or new wholesale décor are not permitted.
Specialty Vendors

Must fit the country lifestyle vibe of the market.
Low Risk Foods (Only accepting Honeys, Jam and Canning)

Must meet all applicable guidelines for low risk food prep as outlined by Alberta Health Services.
Prohibited Items

Weapons, recalled items, counterfeit goods, offensive merchandise, or unsafe electrical items.

High Risk Foods
Booth Setup & Display Rules

Booth Size Compliance—Vendors must stay within their assigned footprint. All spaces are accommodating for a 10x10 tent or approved custom. We have room for two small trailers.

Tent Weight Requirements—All tents must be weighted with a minimum of 25–40 lbs per leg or stakes to prevent any issues if there is wind.

Safe Displays—Shelving must be stable; heavy items must be secured; no tripping hazards.

Please note there is no power available.
Arrival, Setup & Teardown

Arrival Window—Vendors must arrive between 7:00 am and 9:00 am for set up. Personal vehicles are not allowed left in the vendor area after 9:00 am.

Tear Down Procedure—No early teardown unless approved for safety reasons.
Payments & Administration

Booth Fee Policy—The $45.00 Fee is non‑refundable unless the event is cancelled by organizers.

Payment Methods—All methods accepted.

Business Compliance—Vendors are responsible for any required Alberta business licensing or GST registration if applicable.
Safety, Conduct & Liability

Vendor Conduct—Professional, respectful behaviour is required at all times.

Liability Waiver—Vendors are responsible for their own merchandise, displays, and personal safety.

Weather Policy—Event runs rain or shine; vendors must secure tents and displays accordingly. If the weather is not favourable, vendors will be informed no later than 8:00 p.m. the night prior. In the event of a location chance, Lavoy General Store has secured the hall. Tables will be provided.

Emergency Procedures—Follow staff instructions during weather alerts or safety issues.
Promotion & Branding

Use of Event Name—Vendors may use the event name and graphics for promotion but may not alter branding.

Social Media Expectations—Vendors are encouraged to share event posts and tag the organizers.
